50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Ghana and the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic and the Republic of Ghana mark the 50th anniversary of mutual diplomatic relations. The Czechoslovak legation was opened in Accra on 15 November 1959 and in 1961, the Republic of Ghana established its Embassy in Prague.

Minister Kohout attended a Central European Iniciative (CEI) summit

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Kohout attended a Central European Iniciative (CEI) summit in Bucharest. On the occasion of 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic and Romania, minister Kohout awarded Romanian soldiers who contributed to a liberation of Czechoslovakia in 1945. He awarded other personalities and institutions which take an active part in a cultural and scientific cooperation of the Czech Republic and Romania too.
