Basic Information on the Czech Republic's Development Cooperation

According to the Competences Act (Act No. 2/1969, as amended), “the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the Czech Republic’s central public administration authority in the field of foreign policy; as such, it is responsible for creating the concept of and coordinating development cooperation and coordinating external economic relations”. In cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also coordinates the Czech Republic’s foreign humanitarian aid.
